'Cause I, when I li- I was living in Rome in the '80s, and Vivienne Westwood came to stay 'cause she was working in Italy.

He lived there with his business and life partner, Yves Saint-Laurent, and what an amazing place it must have been to live in.

It was offered as a package with the museum and the Yves Saint-Laurent exhibition, and I had booked the 11 o'clock time slot.

I was impressed at how well organised it all was.

Outside, there were signs showing the half-hour time slots and people queued behind them.

There was quite a long queue for our time slot, but it went down very quickly and it didn't feel at all crowded inside the grounds.

The gardens were laid out for us to follow a route and guides were there to ensure we followed the correct path.

It was a beautiful setting with a wide variety of impressive-looking cactuses and a small memorial to Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Berger.

It would be amazing.

Is this cancellation of John Galliano, I guess, a rebuke of her in particular? So then fast forward to when he's like 21, he submits a dress design to this International Wool Secretariat competition and took inspiration from Givenchy and Balenciaga.

And then the next year, he actually wins in the coat category and becomes friends with the dress winner of that year, who was Yves Saint Laurent.
