Steven ConwayHOST
26:42
And then we had the Falls Count Anywhere on School Grounds tag team match.
Steven ConwayHOST
26:46
And this was Desperado, who's gutting his way through his last match before he took time off for injury, teaming with Toro Llano, facing Ghetto and Yuto Ice.
Steven ConwayHOST
26:57
Now, they did fight into the schoolyard, as we predicted.
Steven ConwayHOST
27:00
They also fought into classrooms, et cetera.
Steven ConwayHOST
27:23
Thumbtacks were spread around on the board.
Steven ConwayHOST
27:25
Again, probably from the supply closet.
Steven ConwayHOST
27:27
uh ghetto ended up going through that board and yano beat him so that was the uh the end there so uh yuto ice did not do the job ghetto did but desperado and toro yano won and if you're detecting a baby face theme to these finishes you're on to something
Jeremy FinestoneHOST
27:44
well steven i will tell you on cage match this was the highest rated uh match on the on the card
AndyHOST
32:12
This was really well done.
AndyHOST
32:16
Logistically This match because what we got Going on is we have stuff going on outside Of the ring area where the fans In the ring area can't see and the Wrestlers in the ring area can't see And we have them reacting in real Time to what's going on at the same time this is hard to do and the way they did it was awesome so we go into the principal's office all right and on the intercom is yuto ice and he makes an announcement your order to the principal's office i'm assuming is what he said so here comes yano and desperado this match it says it went 20 minutes this match was like 40 minutes they are lying this match is really long They go to the principal's office, all right? And we see who is sitting at the principal's desk.
AndyHOST
33:02
It's fucking Gato.
AndyHOST
33:03
He's got his feet up on the desk.
Kyosuke NomuraGUEST
81:01
I honestly haven't.
Kyosuke NomuraGUEST
81:03
I just saw the clips on New Japan World where Yuto Ice is screaming into the principal's microphone across the school.
Kyosuke NomuraGUEST
81:10
And then that's the only clip I watched.
Kyosuke NomuraGUEST
81:12
And Toriyano kicking someone's ass and...
JoshHOST
141:50
This is why I'm so pumped about New Japan at the moment.
JoshHOST
141:53
Because there's one character whose primary focus is around, "How do I get high and make a shit ton of money?" Right? That's his one fucking focus, and that is good old-fashioned Yuto Ice.
JoshHOST
142:05
And he was like, "Ooh." As soon as Will said, "I wanna challenge you for that," he's like, "Ooh, I've got a fucking idea to, A, get high and make tons of money."
DaveHOST
142:14
[laughs]
JoshHOST
142:15
"I'll book this shit." Right? It's the one character where that actually makes sense.
JoshHOST
142:19
And for Will, he's like, "I want the, I wanna take you on," 'cause those interactions between Yuto Ice and Will Ospreay were fucking awesome.
DaveHOST
142:26
Yeah.
JoshHOST
142:27
And it's like, "I wanna take you on, kid.
SP3HOST
62:49
You got the champions, United Empires, Great Okan, Hanare, and AEW World Champion...
SP3HOST
62:56
Will Ospreay going up against the Unbound Co., Jeff Cobb, Oscar, and Yuto Ice, the Knockout Brothers.
SP3HOST
63:03
Everyone brawled right at the start of the matchup.
SP3HOST
63:06
You get Ospreay, who flattened Ice with a beautiful-looking plancha to the outside.
SP3HOST
64:32
He tries to go for the hidden blade, but Cobb flattens him with a big elbow.
SP3HOST
64:38
He tries to go for the tour of the islands, but Osprey is able to escape.
SP3HOST
64:42
And then eventually Yuto Ice is tagged in.
SP3HOST
64:45
And then we got some Yuto Ice and Osprey minutes.
SolomonsterHOST
34:56
Oh, not Shingo Takagi.
SolomonsterHOST
34:57
They're gonna be challenging, uh, is it Yuto Ice, I believe? They're gonna be wrestling for the IWGP Tag Team titles on November 3rd at Power Struggle, and it's going to be Ospreay and Newman.
SolomonsterHOST
35:09
And I assume that's the night where things break down, and we get the announcement after that of a Tokyo Dome match between Ospreay and Newman, possibly for the AEW World title.
SolomonsterHOST
35:19
Uh, that's where it looks like things are headed.
Ryan RudnikHOST
16:28
Mm-hmm.
Daniel SolorzanoHOST
16:29
Uh, because Yuto Ice is the man.
Daniel SolorzanoHOST
16:31
[laughs]
Ryan RudnikHOST
16:32
He is.

Yuto Ice
Daniel SolorzanoHOST
85:46
... s- s- s- that ring announcer does it for a really long time.
AndyHOST
4:31
Yes, there were.
AndyHOST
4:34
Um, but really it was all about the main event, which was Oscar and Yuto Ice, the K- Brothers? Knights of...
AndyHOST
4:40
What are they? The, the Kings of Brotherhood? Um, the Brothers of Knockout versus the, the once United Empire, Great O'Khan and Honari.
AndyHOST
4:50
Luke, what did you think of this match, and who won?
Case LoweHOST
23:11
And when I look at Oiwa specifically, more so than Suji, way more so than Umora, who I just, I don't know if it's ever gonna happen with me and him.
Case LoweHOST
23:18
You know, Yuto Ice, Oscar Zack Sabre Jr., a lot of wrestlers that I'm into on this roster.
Case LoweHOST
23:23
W- uh, certainly post-pandemic, this is the most I've ever been engaged with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Case LoweHOST
23:29
But when I look at Oiwa and I see the way he's presented and I see the way that he wrestles, I go, "That is New Japan Pro Wrestling to me." And as long as Oiwa continues to be pushed and handled the way that he is, they will continue to have a viewer who is actively engaged out of me.
Case LoweHOST
23:09
And when I look at Oiwa specifically, more so than Tsuji, way more so than you, Maura, who I just, I don't know if it's ever going to happen with me and him.
Case LoweHOST
23:16
You know, Yuto Ice, Oscar, Zack Sabre Jr., a lot of wrestlers that I'm into on this roster.
Case LoweHOST
23:22
Certainly post-pandemic, this is the most I've ever been engaged with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Case LoweHOST
23:27
But when I look at Oiwa and I see the way he's presented and I see the way that he wrestles, I go, that is New Japan Pro Wrestling to me.
