He's conducting performances of a brand new orchestration of music by Leonard Bernstein, drawn from his incredible piece Mass, Symphonic Rituals from Mass.

He's collaborating with pianist Yuja Wang, and he's going to be revisiting the world of opera.

Last season, he performed Wagner's immense operatic work, Tristan and Isolde, and the huge success of that work has led and inspired Yannick to now lead performances of Lohengrin in concert.

This is a mysterious and colorful score about a knight who cannot reveal his true identity to his love, and it is, is a score full of such magic and rich harmonic colors that you'll get to hear the Philadelphia Orchestra perform with an incredible operatic and vocal cast.

Manny Ax will also be featured on our incredible Spotlight Series.

He's gonna be collaborating with cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

He's going to be joining forces with Itzhak Perlman, and that series will also feature a solo recital by Yuja Wang, who is also on our Spotlight Series and coming on subscription concerts.
