Yuga

Kali Yuga is different, it's a different word.

But Kali Yuga is the densest, most tamasic, most material of the four yugas, where access to God is really unlikely.

And thankfully for us, it's the shortest of the Yugas.

So Satya Yuga is a long time.

And then Kali Yuga is where, yeah, you get cancelled for telling the truth, where like truth appears to be lies, where lies appear to be truth, where people care about food and money and sex and sleep and they're entirely attached to the body and they just cannot conceive of themselves as anything beyond this body.

Within each Kalpa, time moves through four great ages.

The Yugas, each one shorter and morally diminished from the last.

The Satya Yuga, or Age of Truth, is the first and longest, a golden age of 400,000 years in which righteousness stands on all four legs, human lifespans are vast, and the divine and the human are not yet fully separated.

Then the Treta Yuga, slightly shorter, slightly darker, the age in which Rama walks the earth.

There are many that are talking about this age of Aquarius coming in right at this sacred time.

It's huge because 100,000 years of peace Yuga goes by like there is so much tremendous good news coming forth.

Mother, can I ask you a question?

Yes.

So the Ramayana doesn't mention it.

But if you go into the Puranas, there is actually a calculation given that he ruled for 13 Mahayugas.

One Mahayuga is a cycle of Satyug, Treta, Dwapar and Kali.

All four.

All four.

So he was ruling for 13 Mahayugas.

Imagine how old he was.

A normal human being, of course, cannot.

Correct.

The Kali Yugas, the Dwapara Yugas, the Silver Yugas, the Gold Yugas, all of those are part of that cycle.

And we're in this rising aspect of it.

We're coming out of the Kali Yuga ended 300 years ago, and we were in the overhang for the last 326 years.

Yeah, yeah.

The reason I bring that up is, one, we've talked about the Kali Yuga and how, you know, there's so much darkness.

And two, the timescales with the Yugas are so... long yes so when you actually consider that two millennia of no progress or very

little progress actually makes sense when you fit it into like

this massive time yes humanity

Right.

Or, um, the CPAC conference is, um, it focuses a lot on the concept of the Yuga Cycle.

Uh-huh.

This is the idea that there are cycles in the, basically the, the level of, of intelligence and intuition of humanity.

And where are we now?

We're just starting our way back up.

And weren't the Yugas caused, the up and down is from, like, the breathing of a giant turtle or some crazy-
