Yue Yi

Determined to strengthen his country after earlier humiliation by the state of Qi, he famously recruited talented people from across the realm.

With the brilliant general Yue Yi, Yan launched a massive campaign that captured more than seventy Qi cities.

However, the triumph was short-lived.

After King Zhao died, his successor dismissed Yue Yi due to enemy intrigue.

Qi forces soon counterattacked and regained their lost territory.

Not long afterward, the expanding state of Qin began conquering the other powers of China.
