I'm John Dunbar, former mayor of Yountville.

I'm Alfredo Pedroza, a farmer.

Thanks for joining us as we talk about politics, people, whatever else is on our mind, especially the November 3rd election.

And I said, no.

But I also said, if you know what you're getting into, then yes, I think... serving your community is a wonderful and honorable thing.

And I'm very actively supporting my good friend, Joe Tagliabasi, who's running for mayor in Yountville.

And I certainly hope and look forward to his success there.

We're, we're all working on, on the arts.

We're a couple drinks [laughs] in, and we decided to go on camera.

I'm John Dunbar, former mayor of Yountville.

And I'm Alfredo Pedroza, farmer.

Right

... great experience in 2013 to be in Beijing, and I was at the Great Wall of China and I did that.

I had the Yountville Sun newspaper-

[laughs]

tooAnd investors, yeah.

And it really synthesized my first year of business school where I was kind of toying around with this idea, and, um, and the guy that actually introduced me to Pok Pok, uh, before I'd even met Andy, it was a guy named Jeff Cerciello who had worked, uh, for 20 years for Thomas Keller and had co-authored the, um, the book Bouchon with Thomas, um, and was running Ad Hoc and Bouchon down in Yountville.

And I, um, met him and we became friends, and, and he was a very, uh, he wa- he had been to, uh, uh, to s- uh, s- the CI- Culinary Institute of America with Leather Storrs, who's a very, very close friend of mine, um, and, and David Chang.

They were all in the same class.
