These are all teams that were in the mix.
J
18:06Josh WhiteHOST
I mean, I don't think any of these guys were actually tag champions.

It's interesting when you follow Arn and Tully and their arrival to the WWF.

Ep 193 Season 4 Premiere Stallions BRGs, DiBiase & Perfect Mattel LJNs & DiBiase & Heenan Repaints
B
22:18Babyface BrianHOST
Uh, like I say, now I have 11 figures left that I haven't painted, and coming up soon, Johnny V and Adrian Adonis will be ones that I'll wanna paint.
B
22:29Babyface BrianHOST
Now, a couple other figures I got recently that I absolutely love, cou- couple figures that I, I never thought I'd see, are a couple Big Rubber Guys figures from Major, uh, Paul Roma and Jim Powers, The Young Stallions.
B
22:41Babyface BrianHOST
And so these guys, they're...
B
22:44Babyface BrianHOST
A, a lot of people don't see the importance of these figures, but if you're a big fan in, in '86 to '89 like I was, '86 to '92 was kinda my, my prime fandom, there was a couple years there, '87, '88, where these guys were, they were in the mix.
B
23:40Babyface BrianHOST
Um, a win over the, a team like The Bolsheviks isn't that big a deal.
B
23:43Babyface BrianHOST
Uh, they had some good matches where I, I can't remember if it was, uh, by pinfall in a non-title match or if it was DQ or count-out, but they did get, get a win over The Hart Foundation and in a non-title match at one point, uh, in '87.
B
23:58Babyface BrianHOST
And then the most surprising wins they got, to me, are Right before and right after WrestleMania 4, the last match before WrestleMania 4 that Demolition had before they won the titles from Strike Force was a match where they lost to the Young Stallions on a house show.
B
24:16Babyface BrianHOST
And then right after WrestleMania 4, which was March 27th, 1988, they did a European tour where in Switzerland on April 1st, the Young Stallions beat Demolition.

And then in November of '88, I got to see them at a Saturday Night's Main Event taping and Wrestling Challenge taping, the last live event that I went to, last WWF live event that I went to.
B
21:10Babyface BrianHOST
And this was right after they'd gotten their All-American Boys gimmick and had these flags with them, and they faced The Young Stallions and got a quick win on Saturday Night's Main Event over Jim Powers and Paul Roma.
B
21:21Babyface BrianHOST
So very happy to have these in the collection.
B
21:24Babyface BrianHOST
Uh, when I think of the Rougeaus, they, they came in in I think around February of '86, a little bit before I started watching.
