Young Royals

I was kind of sitting there, I was like, I just don't know that I'm okay with all of the journeys surrounding Heartstopper Ending.

even though we've still got episodes planned that relate to heart supper our heart supper isn't quite over there are other things we've got to watch other things we've got to read other things we've got to talk about and potentially the journey of this i mean we've got young royals to finish as well so like this pod is going to go on for at least a couple of months but then hopefully like i keep pestering you guys about things i'd like to do after we've finished talking about heart stopper and young royals so i'd like it to keep going but we'll see we'll talk about the future as it comes but yeah an end will come eventually it has to but yeah so there's there's just so much in it where i'm like oh it's that weird thing and but also you know i know that i can always go back and re-watch heartstopper like it will still exist and i can relive that journey again but it's not the same as when you know that there's new stuff going like it still exists still being created from now on it's always just a memory and that's sad that's an nostalgia thing isn't it yeah it's like we've come to an end and then also i guess in the future one day it will disappear from netflix because we don't have physical copies of anything anymore what's gonna happen when they remove it then what will we all do

we'll still have the graphic novels it's not the same it's not the same

I want DVDs, but what's the point of that? Because what will I watch them on?

What does that mean?

What other series do we talk about a lot? Oh.

young royals and purple means that simmer is thinking about villa and yellow means that simmer is focusing on himself they're the young royals colors

yeah i just thought they were doing complementary colors from the color wheel

And then I've been an avid listener ever since.

But I had to dip out for Young Royals because I haven't watched that yet.

Oh my goodness, get on it.

I know.

look like a very young hockey prospect, and that's really exciting.

He was great in Young Royals, so I'm also excited to see him.

The returning cast is very exciting, but looking at that, I'm like, hmm...

We're missing a few people.

Um, and that's, so that's Emily Hampshire, who we adore.

I haven't watched Young Royals.

Do we need to watch Young Ro- Watch it.

Okay.

Maybe that's next.

Is that next?

Yeah, we're watching Young Royals.

Please do.

[laughs] It's quite exciting.

But I think part of that as well is because I know what he stood for in terms of queer representation and the fandom and us watching, you know, Young Royals.

So there's also this kind of, I ca- I, I think I called it or someone called it, could have been me, I don't know.

The kind of like-

[laughs]
