Youku

And you'll be on Reddit, you'll be on forums, you'll be on Instagram comments, YouTube comments.

I don't think anyone's ever gone to the Youku- YouTube comments and be like, "Oh, I read that comment.

Wow." That is-- [chuckles] I don't think that's ever happened.

Where someone goes on, "You know what? I'll just randomly, instead of doing my Nitnem today, YouTube comments, that's where I should go, and that's where I will get inner spiritual knowledge of God." Said no one ever.

This one's from Shinra Knives called For Longing.

This one's on Youku.

Trippy.

This one's a bit dark.

Now, I have to say, people in China, you can't watch the videos because YouTube is banned, and I apologize.

So I've started, we've started, uh, a page, uh, what is it, Youku in China? Yeah.

Uh, we just started it.

So I'm gonna put...

I can't remember.

Um, but, but we're starting it.

We're getting it going on Youku.

Um, it's not easy.

It was a pretty, like, quick turned around.

And it aired from August 26th to, well, it depends where you're watching, 'cause if you were watching on Youku, it, uh, finished airing on the 9th of September.

If you're watching on Netflix, it finished airing on the 12th of September.

Now, this is 24 episodes of about 45 minutes, and like I said, it's available on Youku and Netflix.

For the director, we have, uh, Chang Che-chang.

He has been directing since 2018, and he is in fact Taiwanese.

Secondly...

I know.

No waiting.

It's on Netflix, it's also on Youku's international site, and their official YouTube channel, all with English subtitles.

Now, looking ahead one day, if you like your romance in silk robes and palace intrigue, there's a big one arriving tomorrow.

Tan Songyun, one of the most popular actresses on Chinese television, has a new historical romance called Against the Current in Chinese, Lan Xiang Rugu, and it premieres Friday, the 11th, on the WeTV app with English subtitles.

A lean 18-episode detective story about a bank robbery and a child trafficking case tangled together across 13 years.

Starring the well-regarded actress Wan Qian with Wang Yang and Hong Kong's Shan Yuei.

you'll find it on Youku's international platform, Youku.tv. And for spy thriller fans, The Long Watch Jiao Feng is a 1940s espionage drama full of codes and double agents led by Wang Kai, and it's streaming free with English subtitles on WeTV.

There's also a gentle family drama called In My Prime Sheng Feng Qi Shi with Guan Shao Tong, if you want something warm and unhurried.

We didn't have YouTube in Shanghai.

So there's a Chinese ripoff called Youku.

So I'd watch Jamie Oliver on Youku.

I watched Gordon Ramsay stuff, Man vs.

Food.
