The first of the tracks which is new to this collection, the remix of You Won't See Me.

Paul's vocal really pops here.

But it, uh, you know, when you look at Rubber Soul, there actually isn't a lot of Paul on Rubber Soul.

Like, there's really only four hardcore kind of Paul songs you could say, which is, you know, Drive My Car, You Won't See Me, uh, Michelle, uh, and then I'm Looking Through You, you know? There, you know, you've the, you've the Ringo song, you know, What Goes On.

You've the two George songs.

Um, and then John kind of is very-

Um, you know, uh, they, what happens next on the following day, uh, November the 11th, which is the 15th, um, session, uh, for Rubber Soul, is basically one of these marathon sessions, which is, you know, occasionally The Beatles have these, uh, incredibly productive days in the studio where they, they get an awful lot of work done.

And if you look at Thursday, November the 11th, there's a, a six, uh, mixing session, so George Martin is in first before everyone else, and he's doing some, uh, you know, mono and stereo mixes of, of The Word.

Um, but then, uh, they go into recording, and they, they work on, uh, You Won't See Me, Girl, Wait, and I'm Looking Through You.

They have these four songs because this is it.

So I agree with Ryan.

I think the 2009 remix or mix is the one I would listen to by default for You Won't See Me.

But this is by no means a failure.

Like, it's fine.

Now, our fresh look today kicks off with track three, Paul's somewhat lengthy You Won't See Me.

Using the 1987 as our focus once again, we can see that the four tracks split across the stereo field with the rhythm track left, hi hat overdub on one track of harmony center left, and Paul's lead center right, and a second Paul and further harmonies far right, gives a pleasant vocal spread, but an awkward balance.

The remix of course separates out many of the elements that are together on a single track, and spreads things out in a very satisfying manner.

Back to the '87.

We have lost the time that was so hard to find.

And I will lose my mind if you won't see me.
