And so, uh, you know, that was when I started losing confidence, and, um, we had to s- kind of stop it, and then, you know, they got upset with me.

And, uh, w- I went to, um, Israel for, uh, the wedding of Yoram, Yoram, the number two guy, Yoram Globus, and, uh, they sat me down with the whole crew at a restaurant, and they started saying, "You're s- you're against us.

You're talking to our board members and telling them we can't do this.

This is il- this is, you know, not possible.

Cannon is it.

So Israeli cousins, Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus, bought a failing film production and distribution company called Cannon Group, and they started making the kind of movies like they wanted to see.

Um, and they made some-

The later Bronson Cannon movie, Murphy's Law, also originally began with a non-Bronson scene, but it was re-edited to open with a scene with the star.

The Cannon Group was a film company that was run by the Israeli cousins Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus.

In nineteen eighty-two, Cannon had their first big hit with the Bronson movie Death Wish Two.

Naturally, Golan and Globus wanted to make another Bronson movie, and they started raising money for it immediately.
