So it's not really like Washington underperformed as a developer, but Notre Dame just upgraded with Partridge and that's gonna make Al Washington look worse.

Um, there's a great breakdown from Yogi Roth who actually called the game on Saturday.

He was the color guy in the booth during the Peacock game, and he put a breakdown on YouTube and I would encourage you guys to check it out because he really goes in depth on what exactly this defensive line is doing that is so unique relative to what other defensive lines are doing in college football.

And he's basically saying like you have to have great players to be able to do this and to execute it, and Notre Dame has that.

And I guess, Yogi, you're a quarterback guy.

Carroll, at the same time, was contemplating his future at the school.

Yogi Roth, one of Carroll's staffers, was with him that night.

I remember looking over to him and I whispered in his ear, I said, "Look at this.

This is the coolest thing in the world.

I've heard a lot of positive feedback about Burmeister and...

did a really good job, to be honest with you.

The, uh, yeah, they, they, they did a side-by-side of him on the field versus Kyle Hamilton on the broadcast.

And, um, Yogi Roth was saying, man, that guy wears the shortest pants I've ever seen in my life.

Do they not make pants big enough for six or five football players at Notre Dame? I never really thought of it in that context.

When you see him side-by-side with Kyle Hamilton, it did jump out.

So, all right.

Well, on that note, this went a little bit longer than expected, but hey, we found things to talk about after Noriam's 49-10 demolition of Purdue.
