So and even just a few months ago doing that, I could have done each of those pieces, but they would have been individual pieces.

The linkage to WordPress would have been really challenging for a bunch of reasons.

Yoast SEO on the site, which is the SEO plugin that we use internally, would have totally not worked.

And the fact that Astro was able to, through a combination of a direct MCP to the site and the ability to just dive in and fix stuff via computer control, like at a really high level, that was remarkable to see all of that happening.

And then the last one I thought was really fun because, well, actually I did two others.

Over the past five years, we've been building a library of internal documentation because scaling a team is really hard if you don't have documentation.

So we have all these documents of like when somebody asks a question about Yoast, what are the best practices? Like what should my featured image sizes be? All of this stuff that like we've been talking about for a decade on this podcast, that's That is like, here's the NerdPress way to do something.

Here's guidance.

So it's very specific to our clients rather than just the general website, internet at large.

And it's probably not something that's super well documented on the web.

the nuances of best practices for a WordPress site that is, you know, primarily food sites.

Like, okay, what do you do within the context of Yoast if this question comes up? Like, there's going to be Yoast documentation on the internet, but probably not that specific so there's like the open web there's the industry knowledge layer that a lot of times is closed and then the last piece is like the individual and your understanding and your beliefs around your business and your contextual knowledge that for sure isn't available it's not like crawl claude can crawl your knowledge base which is like your brain and you knowing that hey i want to keep this post i don't want to keep this post and so I think most of us are operating within the context of Claude or ChachiBT, the database that they have, which is extremely comprehensive, smarter than almost anybody.

But we're missing that like middle layer that exists, which is the industry layer, which I think is what you guys are building, which is really cool.

I would even say three in a perfect world to get to where you need to be to then make a decision.

We work within Yoast.

We need to be reviewing every three months.

Is that still relevant right now? And if not, what do we do about it to make it relevant? Thank you for having me.

Reviews are the best thing, in my opinion, especially as a shop owner.

A review not just about the products, but about you as a brand.

You've got places like Judge.me, who are another app with Shopify, who are, I think, even bigger than Yoast.

They are bigger than Yoast in terms of the Shopify

So it's checking out the website.

It says it's WordPress.

It's running a WP Engine, Divi, Jetpack, Yoast.

You can see how many pages there are.

This is my personal website that I never update.

Um, so there's a lot of like hosting providers going there trying to like win over agencies, um, and sell to agencies.

Um, and of course Yoast was there.

There weren't a whole lot of There were a handful of plugins with booths, but it definitely felt like the majority of the booths were like big hosting providers.

I think part of that is the dynamic of the conference.

as well.

Because, like, there's people that build, like,

Yoast.

A Yoast-like experience, too.

And honestly, I just it's like pulling teeth.

I have like the Yoast podcast.

plug in on wordpress shout out to the people who use wordpress because we deserve a medal and uh it was like seoing it and giving me like this is now at 96 but i haven't seen any traffic difference as a result so you know i'm like clearly not getting that so i thought okay maybe if i could understand the podcast seo so then what i did was i because i use claude uh co-work now and if somebody's using chat gpt then i highly recommend that you break up that toxic relationship and move over to another toxic relationship that's slightly less positive like claude tells you a bit more how it is which is quite nice but the co-work has been amazing for for me so then i like copied and pasted all of his bumps all of his emails everything that he said then i did more research on like seoing a podcast and And then that's why now you might notice that the artwork has changed because the first part was he was going to obviously get you to change the artwork, change the name.
