I'd like to add another factor, and it could be that you're going to disagree with me or have nothing to add to this, but I just want to say something that came up recently.

On my last podcast with Rabbi Yitzchak Adlerstein, we talked a little bit about Das Torah and And one of the things that he said, which I found fascinating, was that he believes that this is not going to be a political discussion, but in the new Haredi political party he's associated with, they're saving Das Torah because he thinks that Das Torah, this idea of certain religious authority figures have authority.

a dominant authority of sorts.

He said, we're saving Das Torah because it's become perverted, which is that very often in the world today, Das Torah is imposed on other people, meaning Das Torah is that guy.
