Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh

The Pesukim at the end of Parshas Eikev, where they sing the praises of Eretz Yisrael, the Torah compares and contrasts Eretz Mitzrayim and Eretz Canaan.

And the Torah tells us about Eretz Yisrael, Eretz asher a'inei Hashem alokecha ba, mei reishis ha-shana, va'ad achariz shana.

The sequence of the Chumash is Midukduk, and that is because the function of the Mishkan is to be a continuity of Meimer Har Sinai.

When I was in Yeshiva, in Kerem B'Yavneh, we once had a Shabbaton in Yeshivat HaRetzion, and Rabbi Menachem Liebtag gave a shiur of that Motzei Shabbos, and I believe, if I'm remembering correctly, the shiur that he gave Motzei Shabbos was illustrating how the Mishkan is a perfect parallel to Maimon HaHarsinai from a geographic standpoint.

that there were different areas, there were concentric circles of access to different people.

And as you got closer to the Makom Hashkina, the Hashuras Hashkina, so you have greater and greater restrictions and limitations.

Uh.

All three of those boys were Kerem B'Yavne students.

Mm.

All of them were in the same tank together.

These trips were primarily geared to guys learning in the Yeshivotes there.

You know, Karabiyavna, KBY, that's what it's called in slang out there, Gush, Shalavim, Hakotel, those yeshivas.

That's who these trips were really designed for.

So whatever.
