Yeshe Tsogyal

Even if you look at Guru Rinpoche, the second Buddha, those of us who are Vajrayana practitioners, we view him as that we can become like him.

And becoming like him includes Yeshe Tsogyal, is constant.

But then, you know, this always sort of blew my mind.

There's not one Guru Rinpoche.

There's Medicine Buddha.

There's Medicine Buddha Guru Rinpoche.

Everything is included in the tantric world in Guru Rinpoche and Yeshe Tsogyal.

And in terms of duality coming together, There is no way to relate to Guru Rinpoche without Yeshe Chögyal, who historically is one of his consorts.

Yeshe Tsogyal on a white horse came through the sky in through the window of the shrine room, and she said, 'Come on.

You're not getting on with your meditation.

We're off to see Padmasambhava in the copper-colored mountain.'" You know, blah, blah.

We're going in to see Padmasambhava." So they go in, and there's Padmasambhava, who he's met before.

[laughs] But Padmasambhava doesn't seem to recognize him, and he's a bit pale, you know.

So they do all the obeisance and all the rest of it, and he gets introduced by Yeshe Tsogyal, and Padmasambhava goes, "Oh, it's you.

Oh, sorry, I thought you were Higher Grieva." And he looks down, and he is Higher Grieva.
