Yeruham

I remember speaking to a Talmud of the Yeshiva, who is now the Rabbi of Tekoa.

He's the Rabbi of Tekoa, but for many, many years he was a Rav in Yerucham.

Now today, Yerucham is a place to live.

There are hundreds and hundreds of Dati couples.

But 35 years ago, when the yeshiva started, it was a religious ghost town.

It was a deflated, degraded society of drugs and crime.

And they built this yeshiva, Yerucham, as a reclamation project.

He was one of the first Rebbeim.

Knowing that, you know, when we moved to Israel, they would do the army and that's just how it was.

And my next son, our next son Zevi, who is at Mechina at the moment, the same one that Natan was at in Yerucham, and he finishes in February and then his enlistment ends.

He enlists in March, exactly the same as Natan.

And he wants to do exactly the same thing Natan did.
