So my name is Maryam.

As Julius mentioned, I'm based in Armenia in the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan.

I have the educational background in both economics and engineering, which has helped me look to business challenges from different perspectives.

So I started my career in HSBC Armenia and spent almost 14 years there.

Like I was looking some university in the US, in China, in Singapore, so in all over the world.

So the Oxford is one of the, like they providing one of the programs that can be combined my current life space.

So I can work, I can study, I can travel between Yerevan and London.

So like I calculate all those logistics things as well, because like it is very difficult to travel to US like for several times during the year.

[upbeat music] Armenia and Georgia are each rewriting their foreign relations and squelching domestic opposition to their plans using very similar lawfare campaigns, but their geopolitical trajectories couldn't diverge much more from each other.

Azerbaijan puts Armenia's constitution at the center of the final peace hurdle

Azerbaijan says a permanent peace treaty with Armenia now depends principally on constitutional changes in Yerevan, even as Baku describes relations between the former adversaries as conditions of real peace.

Azerbaijani officials argue that provisions they regard as territorial claims must be removed before a final agreement can be signed, while diplomatic engagement continues between both countries.

The dispute represents a crucial political hurdle after decades of conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and the framework agreement reached on 8 August 2025.

And as the president mentioned a few weeks ago at the European political community in Yerevan, I was honoured to attend, and I said at that meeting that I believe that the next world order will likely be built out of Europe, and Canada will be part of that effort.

In security, as the first non-European member to join SAFE, as the President mentioned, under his leadership, Canada is a key member of the coalition of willing to support Ukraine.
