Yard of ale

The atmosphere when an England-France rugby match is on is completely electric.

But The Frog is most famous across the Alps for one specific terrifying drinking challenge, the yard of ale.

[laughs] The yard of ale is pure carnage.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, a yard is this three-foot-long glass trumpet with a bulb at the bottom holding roughly two and a half pints of beer.

The challenge is that you have to drink the entire thing in one continuous chug against the stopwatch.
