Yannick Bright

I think he did two good things the whole game and that was just pass the ball to Messi.

Yannick Bright, I thought, initially was very poor on the ball.

A lot of the issues he had throughout the game were on the ball, but off the ball, exceptional.

Absolutely brilliant defending from him.

Um, They continue to press into the second half, and they continue to, when they do that, put the opposition under pressure, and I continue to think Chicago had trouble with that.

They did have maybe like an eight-minute period after Yannick Bright gets his foot stepped on where they're able to break out of it for a little bit and get a little bit of momentum going the other way, but But then again, Inter Miami kind of just brought it back into control.

And most of what Chicago was able to do from that point on was either in a desperate transition with like one or two guys or off a set piece where they earned a foul and were able to get guys moving forward.

But in terms of really controlling the game, I thought Inter Miami did a great job of that from the 10th minute on, other than sort of a five to eight minute period right after Yannick Breg gets his foot stepped on.

They played 50% more games last year at this point in the season.

Obviously, if you're Messi or, you know, one of the World Cup guys, Rodrigo de Paul, you've played an extra eight or nine games.

But... for inner miami like they don't have the season-long minutes in them that would make you think they would be exhausted or that they would be in need of a break so this is just the short-term lack of rotation that's really coming back to bite inner miami i think um because they've played bertrami 90 minutes basically every game and suarez and messi and depaul and casimiro and yannick bright and like all these guys have played 90 minutes every game um And they look like they ran out of juice in the last 25 minutes of the game.

Yeah, I think that was a big tell that Inter Miami tried to go into the next gear, but almost feel like they didn't have enough fuel to go into the next gear.

I mean, you have Depol who's assisting.

You have Yannick Bright in the middle that's playing excellent.

You have Velasco Segovia that is a step away from playing in Europa.

You have Silvetti as soon as he comes back and is ready to play.

I really did.

I was surprised when they put him in the midfield because To me, I didn't see...

Number one, I don't think Yannick Bright, De Paul, and Casemiro work well in a midfield.

I don't think that's the case.

Yannick Bright was in there as a, as a bodyguard.

Rodrigo de Paul, the official bodyguard, was there, and Casemiro, a big, strong bodyguard, was also there.

So those three were right there for Messi, you know? And then Junior Alonso also had his squad, and they were all standing around watching the argument, and then they ended up separating them, and everybody went their merry way.
