The duties of grihastha, householder, are bhutarakshya, protection of living beings, and doing Yagya, Ijya.

But taking charity, accepting charity, teaching shastra and doing yajna for others, means acting as a priest, this is only allowed for the brahmanas.

So kshatriya and vaishya, they are not allowed to take charity or teach or become priest for doing Yajna.

They are not allowed.

Means if they are Brahmins, they will study how to do Yagya, the Samskaras, their duties required as a priest.

Kshatriyas will learn the art, martial arts, fighting.

Vaishyas will learn about business.
