I want to ask you about a very explosive report, uh, in Haaretz, uh, which comes from a book written by the journalist Shlomi Eldar and also Ruti Yuval.

You've obviously read it, but I'm going to read it again for our, for our audience, saying that the UAE president called Netanyahu 10 days before October 7th, warning that Yahya Sinwar, the head of, uh, Hamas, was planning a major move against Israel that could cause bloodshed and destabilize the region.

It goes on to say that Netanyahu reacted calmly, assuring that Israel was ready for any scenario.

Now, uh, Netanyahu's office is saying this, y- you know, is a complete lie.

In other news, Haaretz reported three claims regarding Gaza.

Three foreign senior sources said UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed warned Netanyahu a week and a half before October 7, 2023, that Yahya Sinwar was planning a major operation, which Netanyahu allegedly did not share with security officials.

Palestinian mediator Samir Masharawi stated that Hamas offered on October 7th to release all civilian hostages in exchange for opening a communication channel, an offer Israel rejected.

A senior Israeli defense official confirmed that hostage release was not among the government's initial war objectives.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing intense media scrutiny for his responsibility for the October 7th attacks following those Haaretz revelations.

The paper reported that the Prime Minister received a warning from Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed 10 days before October 7th, cautioning him that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was preparing a major event.

With national elections coming up next month, Netanyahu's opponents have seized on the media uproar.

So Haaretz reports that Mohammed bin Syed called Netanyahu personally on September 23rd, 2023, a 45-minute call warning that Sinwar, yeah, yeah, Sinwar, he passed away.

There was that video footage of him running into the rubble of a home.

There was a drone.

October 7th and effectively what happened in the lead up to it and in the immediate aftermath.

And two of the things that the article alleges is that the prince of the UAE, MBZ, I believe, he warned Netanyahu day or a week before, weeks before, that Yahya Sinwar of Hamas was planning something big.

And the reason why is because as, let's be real, as Netanyahu does, There were discussions and talks to lift the blockade on Gaza.

Netanyahu stopped talking to Hamas.

Yeah, I mean, I think, um, it was notable, uh, particularly yesterday, some of the speeches from, uh, certainly J.D. Vance, uh, but also Robert Kennedy Jr. and, uh, Donald Trump, uh, Jr., the president's son, and, uh, Ted Cruz, um, all of them potentially auditioning for twenty twenty-eight.

Um, I think, uh, I was also struck on the first night, uh, Mike Johnson, the House speaker, got a warm reception from the crowd, but when Donald Trump mentioned, uh, John Thune, the Senate majority leader, uh, some people there booed, um, and, uh, you know, his name did not go down so well.

Um, I mean, some of the striking absences were Republicans in some tough, uh, swing districts who stayed away, and some of them were quoted saying things like, uh, "I'm too busy, I'm attending my son's, you know, football game," stuff like that.

Um, so it was a, it was a mixed bag.

Um, and we'll, we'll have to see what impact there is on, uh, on consumers and, you know, aluminum, energy, lumber, and food products and, and so on.

It, that seems relatively uneven, uh, right now, um, but co- could certainly have, uh, an effect in the medium to long term.

On September 24th in Washington, DC, you have two alpha leaders, Xi Jinping of China and Donald Trump, meeting when they come, and I just sort of find it fascinating that the White House thinks that it enhances their position to have a Canada trade war.

Like, when you're kind of looking at the global geopolitical, geostrategic competition between Ch- uh, China and the United States- How in the mind of strategists does this trade war help in that overall positioning of the United States vis-a-vis China? It, in a way, gives China a win before Xi Jinping has arrived.

And at this point, among other sources, I-24 News in Israel is quoted saying that there was an investigation conducted for a new book called Hostages, 843 Days of Abandonment, that revealed that the president of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, called the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on a secure line about 10 days before the Sukkot attack and warned him for 45 minutes.

the SINWAR was planning a major operation against Israel and according to that report Ben Zayed feared the event would destabilize the region and threaten the Abraham Accords so initially it says Netanyahu responded calmly saying Israel was prepared for it sounds like the answer was yes they were just not in the way that the world thought and supposedly none of Israel's security chiefs including the heads of Shin Bet and Mossad and the IDF chief of staff were briefed on that particular warning although some of them seemed to know that it was coming through other sources.

Says Leo Holman, this latest bombshell report, confirming what others have said for literally years before, and certainly lots of people's worst suspicions, also opens up yet another question.
