A little over 30 years ago, I heard Rav Yaakov Weinberg, Tzal, speak about singing and music.

It wasn't guitars back then, it was just singing in Davening.

And he cited a tshuva from a collection called Krach Shol Romi.

We are both Talmidim of Rabbi Yaakov Weinberg Zatzal, former Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Yisrael.

I talk about him a lot.

Could you give me some insights into your relationship with him and anything that stood out about him?

So, Rebbechiel Yaakov Weinberg saw what was happening and he wanted to transfer the seminary to Tel Aviv.

You're aware of this.

And he understood already to get the seminary into Palestine with the Rabbanim here, he would need the support of Rabbi Moisey Grishensky.

It was not an easy process, turning Israel into the beautiful green land that it is today.

And I remember hearing something from Rabbi Yaakov Weinberg.

You know, there's a term, the green line.

which describes the border, or described, now there's a wall, but the border between the West Bank and the rest of Israel.
