Xoyo

And I think the, the, the release, um, Nothing More To Say had a bit more of an underground viability and showed us a lot of excitement in this artist.

We had a really funny experience that I remember where, um, my flatmate at the time, uh, James had booked Jack to play at XOYO in London and...

Which is where I met Sophie, funny enough.

But James had booked, uh, Jack, and then Jack also had another night in Brist- another gig in Bristol the same night with, uh, Joy Orbison.

They were doing a closing set at some place in Bristol, I forgot where.

And I think the, the, the, the XOYO offer kind of came in later, but it was with Jack Master or Firewy Jack Master Funk, I think.

Is that? I think so.

I'm pretty sure it is.

Do some of the shit that I used to do.

And when I say that, I mean, so, like, when I was younger, there was a guy that I was seeing before Matt, and we went on a night out together, just the two of us, to XOYO in Central London.

Okay.

And you know when you just, like, now you look back at it, and I got so hammered with this guy.

It's a night out.

X-O-Y-O, Jesus, in Shoreditch.

It's back.

I was on my first ever shows.

Yeah.

Because communicating with a bunch of drunk students to sell them a five pound ticket into XOYO at age 18 is probably a much harder sell than selling an Eric Pritz ticket to a really big mega club.

So that kind of progression, I think, is really important.

Yeah, that's why I'd say it's the most important bit of it.

Out to Too Shy MC.

So how, how have you all been, Woo Crew? What've you been getting up to? Out to all the gang I saw over at XOYO for Billy Blunt on Saturday, vibey, vibey party.

Absolutely loved that.

Up top Brian G. and J Man.

Prayers, that's it.

XOYO was their kind of big one.

But they did a lot of albums.

I mean, again, that's another band that's worth rediscovering if one hasn't already.

Well, The Rainbow's not even called The Rainbow now.

I think it's actually called XOYO, which is...

I, like, I'm only 28-

Okay

Afternoon to the UK and the European gang.

[upbeat music] So what's been going on, Woo Crew? What have you been up to? And what are you getting up to at the weekend? Philly Blunt for me this Saturday at XOYO.

It's a day rave.

Get your tickets now.

Adam Wire, Sendee J on Bassdrive.

[gentle upbeat music]

Have a good one, whatever you're doing, and I hope to see some of you over at XOYO on Saturday.

Billy Blunt, that lineup, right?

Mum's love the club, by the way.

When I'm DJing down at XOYO in Shoreditch, which I do every Saturday.

You say, mum's

give me a cheer?
