Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna The Golden Country

I mean, the last time I played this before now, I must have picked it up at some point to show someone.

Um, but Torna is like a simplified version of everything that's going on in this game, for the better in most ways, I think.

It's missing some of the complexities of it, um, of 2.

He has an innocence to him, but also a competence to him.

It, it starts out as a job opportunity why he, uh, why he accompanies, um, uh, uh, Torna on the salvaging mission, and then after he, uh, dies, like, of him supporting Pyra in her mission to, uh, to reach the...

I will get the special edition for Genesis most likely.

So I didn't play a lot of two until the Torna physical copy came out because I thought, oh, that's a short one.

That's one I can know I can beat, you know, even though it's like a mid game game.

breakaway prequel was the idea was that like around chapter 7 of Xenoblade 2 they put Torna in and there'd be a little section they realized oh this is too long let's make it a game and because of that I've had an experience similar to the one that we've talked about in the past that I had with Yakuza in how I played Zero last and Um, and how that informed, uh, some of the experiences that I had with that series that I don't think just about anybody else has had.

Cause now you start with zero, uh, you're told to start with zero.

You don't play zero in chronological release order anymore.

A lot of the story beats they hammer home in 0 are things that they then hammer home harder in 6.

It's like a character study of that character.
