The Xbox Cloud launch pricing revealed 10 hours for $3.99, 25 hours for $7.99, 50 hours for $11.99. And if I'm understanding this correctly, because I don't pay that much attention to, you know, cloud gaming, it used to just be unlimited and be free, right? Well, it used to be unlimited, not free.

Right? Is that how it works?

Starting today, Xbox insiders will have the option of streaming games even if they aren't current subscribers.

It's turning what was once known as the Xbox Cloud Gaming into Xbox Cloud Playtime, with a play-as-you-go model that's more flexible.

The program is expected to roll out more broadly in November.

At that point, people will be able to pay for cloud gaming a la carte starting at 40 cents an hour.

But if this does end up being the case, I think that first, like, one to two years for people who want very specific things from game pass it will probably be a much better feature than having to pay for the whole bundle of it of like every service they have under the sun of Game Pass.

I think long term for those people, it'll probably be a negative because I think those prices as well will balloon of like, we've seen it already with xCloud of where they're like, okay, well, not that many people use xCloud, so we can now nickel and dime them of like, well, now you only get 15 hours and you can buy all the added time, whatever the case is for it.

And so I would see that being the case with whatever happens to Game Pass.

The long term, I think short term, Probably isn't I I think it sucks.

Microsoft reveals its new hourly Xbox Cloud Gaming playtime pass prices.

Xbox incentives can test now ahead of November launch.

Starting November, Xbox Cloud Gaming via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be limited to 15 hours with premium users getting 10 and basic users getting 5.

The breakdown of the limitations can be seen below.

So 10 hours you go to up to 1080p for $4.

What it does is it scans over the entire database and it pulls every single AI API key that it can find.

So that's OpenAI, that's Cloud, that's Gemini, that's this, there's that, there's all this stuff.

And basically what it did, whatever these things were, so it grabbed all those codes and I don't know if it input it all into their system or whatever it is, but I can tell, and that just started triggering as many searches as I can on these API keys.
