Xavier Laverty

And then he was pretty much thrown in the deep end in defence for the rest of the year.

He got a bit of a lesson on Xavier Laverty in round 18 when Lav kicked seven, but he played every single game.

Question

without notice, does he have a better year in 2027?

I remember he tagged Ben Rigoni one day.

He also did a great job against Xavier Laverty.

So well done to Riley Costello.

26 more goals in 2026, an improvement of 68.4% in front of the big sticks.

And I don't really have a great deal else as who's going to be a regular contributor inside their back six.

It's Charlie Douglas.

It's Riley Costello who played on Xavier Laverty as an undersized key.

I'm sure that would have been a lesson in teaching young Riley Costello.
