Jaquel Meadowbrook, if you looked at Pro Football Focus, didn't grade very well as a plus blocker.

And then the only running back that great very well was Xavier Brown.

so that's also something that needs to improve um and that's something that comes with game reps but i think that's something that they're missing that you know we talked so much about jamari taylor and he's over a thousand yard rushing season but he was really good at picking up those blocks if you go back some of those channel morris's run jamari taylor was right there

Yeah, and can I tell you something else? I've had another shift, because there was a whole overreaction in college football, and also in professional football, about, hey, running backs, you can find them.

I think what they did was really smart putting him in the second half of legs were tired, because he's a guy that can make something out of nothing.

We saw that he's got very good patience to go into hole.

So we know Jekyll Middlebrook and Xavier Brown have kind of been like the one to punch a little bit.

him and zay davis coming in towards the second half keeping legs fresh i think we're gonna see a little bit of that um i think that's something that i could see but i'm focusing on the wide receivers because that's a position that we haven't quite yet seen and i know it's because they've been hurt um i think the sean martin can be the big play guy we've kind of seen that twice already when there's touchdowns But with him and Rico Flores back and Isaiah Robinson, who I think Isaiah Robinson is going to have a very good future.

They cut the running backs down from five to two.

It was mainly Ja'Kale Middlebrook and Xavier Brown for most of the game.

In that case, I'd honestly like to see a little bit more Noah Vaughn because I think he's got some explosion in between the tackles.

See, I'm on the other side.

I want to see more Xavier Brown.

I mean, that guy is straight.

No, but it's not just that game.

He had two touchdowns.

They've been hit by the injury bug in the last few years.

Xavier Brown was hurt last year and he left.

You know, Jamari Taylor took a lot of the brunt of the running back reps last year, even while injured.

So Virginia's kind of learned the lesson to not overuse those running backs.

So and each running back gives you a little bit different.

Like Xavier Brown, watch for him to be incorporated in the passing game a lot.

We saw that a little bit against NC State.

So with him, he's kind of the versatile guy, a little bit of a pass catcher, also a good runner, got good burst.
