yeah oh my god yeah so we like i already said when i do get it like all right so john you're in the calendar so you understand but we i was able to map out all the way not map out but schedule out all of our shows with that bringing us right up to the tuesday before doomsday is released right um And it works out.

It actually, it almost didn't if we waited any longer because we'll be able to do X-Men, then the following week, X2, and then we're going to double up on Loki and Shang-Chi because we only have 14 weeks in this 15 movies.

Well, and we watch it, like

when we get to Loki, are we talking about two seasons of Loki? Yeah, so I guess we'll have to discuss that as we go along.

I took the- Total film.

Yeah, total film.

And so, yeah, we got X-Men, X2, Captain America, and we'll do these right in order.

The only ones we're doubling up is the Loki and Shang-Chi.

All right, y'all, we're going to go ahead and get into it.

Helene, I'm going to start with you because with fresh eyes of watching X2,

did you

see right

thing.

Great theme, but it's not as recognizable as the other ones that you brought up.

Ghostbusters or X-Men? And I'm talking the theme from X2 and Days of Future Past.

Not the

animated series.

They find a way to make the mutants part of some big event that happened, which they didn't really do in the original X-Men.

X-Men movies that Bryan Singer did well the first two and then Brett Ratner did the third one as you said but I just thought that was kind of an interesting thing that they that they chose to carry on because this movie could have been a lot of different things it was well the name was taken from a comic book series which they almost didn't except for the time period I don't think they really took anything from it um so there's no need to compare it even though I didn't read the comics um They were talking about doing a prequel of this type during the production of X2.

That's the story, anyway, from one of the producers, Lauren Donner.

And she said that they were talking about doing a movie about the formation of the Academy, and then it kind of turned into a Magneto prequel.

And then the X-Men franchise is kind of rare because I think not once, but twice they made a sequel that kind of exceeded the original.

I mean, days of future past was definitely a better movie than this.

And then X2 and X-Men, I think that's kind of a toss-up, but they're at least the same.

I know this is very subjective, but they're almost the same.

And, and this is like the fourth time in a row that you're like, "Well, I had high expectations and they didn't meet it," and so whatever.

So like whether it was me with X2 or, uh, Lanterns and I'm like hyping stuff up, and you are getting constantly disappointed.

So stop doing that.

We already established last week, if you're gonna read or watch something, the plan is to not look at reviews because you're gonna read it anyway.

First off, we have, I'm so excited if you can't tell.
