RyanHOST
1:06
It's better than X-Men Origins Wolverine.
RyanHOST
1:08
And it's better than First Class.
RyanHOST
1:10
It's better than the two that come after it as well.
RyanHOST
1:14
In my opinion, this is the number two best movie in the entire X-Men franchise, only behind one other movie that is not a movie that contains the word X-Men in the title.

RyanHOST
7:42
So I don't really have a whole lot more to say about this movie.
RyanHOST
7:47
Again, came out in 2014, directed by Bryan Singer.
RyanHOST
7:50
It's got pretty much all of the stars from the first original trilogy, as well as all of the main headliners from the first class movie.
RyanHOST
8:01
So you've got two Xaviers.
Scott McCartneyHOST
10:52
that like Marmite, it didn't go well.
Scott McCartneyHOST
10:54
The two that I've heard, they were going to do a Mystique Origins film and a Magneto Origins film, but ultimately when X-Men Origins Wolverine didn't work out, and they did X-Men First Class, I think they took ideas from those films, because they didn't flesh out what the X-Men Mystique and Magneto films were going to be.
Scott McCartneyHOST
11:10
They took ideas from them and put them in, particularly the Magneto one, because you really watch X-Men First Class as much Magneto story as anybody.
Scott McCartneyHOST
11:18
Oh,
Paul BrownHOST
11:18
totally.
Paul BrownHOST
11:18
The flesh out his origin, the whole concentration camp crap.
Scott McCartneyHOST
11:22
What's amazing is how brilliant, I think very well, when you look at the concentration camp flashback in X-Men 1 and then in X-Men First Class, how much it's very much recreated almost completely Oh, totally.
Scott McCartneyHOST
11:34
And then the first year, the villain legitimately is very much tied to Magneto at the end of it, and then there's all these people who are kind of around him.
RomoneGUEST
49:21
This is really lame.
RomoneGUEST
49:22
Do you remember X-Men First Class? Yes.
RomoneGUEST
49:24
Okay.
RomoneGUEST
49:25
My people.
J.A. ScottHOST
12:43
What is
Andy LarsonHOST
12:44
X-Men First Class? X-Men First Class is correct.
J.A. ScottHOST
12:50
Thank you, Chad.
Andy LarsonHOST
12:52
Let's do Movies
Dan MurrellHOST
19:11
This was something that almost happened.
Dan MurrellHOST
19:13
I think a lot of those elements were folded into X-Men First Class.
Dan MurrellHOST
19:16
16 people said Scarecrow should get his own movie, followed by 10 votes apiece for Mr.
Dan MurrellHOST
19:22
Freeze and Lex Luthor, two of the more prominent bald supervillains, so I appreciate that.
Mike The FabHOST
1:30
Now I've seen it a second time.
Mike The FabHOST
1:32
I've seen Kick-Ass, X-Men First Class, and then to your comment, Argyle.
Mike The FabHOST
1:38
And what a film Argyle was.
Mike The FabHOST
1:40
What about you, Mike? What Matthew Vaughn films have you seen?
Mike Back At YouHOST
1:43
So I've seen Layer Cake, Stardust, of course, just now for the podcast, Kick-Ass, X-Men First Class, Kingsman, and Argyle, of course, which, boy, he really lost his touch.
Mike Back At YouHOST
1:55
How do you feel about Matthew? I've seen virtually every one
Mike The FabHOST
1:57
of his films.
Mike Back At YouHOST
2:16
I'm sympathetic to him and his style.
HelenaHOST
8:42
enjoy it.
HelenaHOST
8:43
I only watched it because it was after X-Men First Class had came out and all of us were fangirling over Fassbender.
HelenaHOST
8:54
Which is coincidentally how we ended up watching Shame together as a group.
HelenaHOST
8:58
For one of my birthday parties? Yeah, that does not sound like
LukeHOST
42:20
Here's the thing.
LukeHOST
42:21
When they did First Class, it was a soft reboot.
LukeHOST
42:25
They were rebooting the cast.
LukeHOST
42:26
They were starting at an earlier time, and they were thinking, and they did.

ZachHOST
64:11
I think she's
LukeHOST
64:12
more in a suit at this point.
LukeHOST
64:14
In first class, I think they did the whole painting thing, but I think they changed it to an easier suit that she puts on.
LukeHOST
64:20
Gotcha.
GraceHOST
14:41
Oh, absolutely.
GraceHOST
14:42
I loved X-Men First Class.
JamesHOST
14:43
But specifically Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.
