Wyke College

We used to have great hurling things on below in the field across from the school.

And we'll say, back then in Wyke, we'll say, When you'd go to mass there every Sunday morning, you'd come out and you'd be talking about after second mass and someone would say, we'll go for a few pokes.

So the hurling field was there beside us and the hurlies were at Doyle's and our house.

So you'd stay hurling away there then until it was time to go home for a bit of dinner.
