I mean, it's like crazy, everything that's going on.

So the Pels play their final preseason game tonight against the Washington Wizards.

Pre-game 6.30, tip-off 7 p.m. right here on the Big 870 WWL AM.

And they're... opener is Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers and already we're starting the basketball season we're hardly into the football season I mean it is crazy the number of events that there are going on around the city and some big conventions in town as well so downtown should be humming you know and hopefully that's the case and then tonight don't forget High school fans, week seven of the Manning Family Children's Prep Football Roundout, the most comprehensive high school football show in America.

Guys, I wanted to get your reaction, um, you know, WWL Radio's been kind of a integral part of, of this for a long, long time.

I think there was only just a brief time that we did not air, uh, the New Orleans Saints, uh, games, but they've been there through thick and thin, uh, with the Saints as well.

Yeah, and Mark and I were just talking about the Super Bowl experience that we've had with WWL.

So in, in working on these major events and things, part of what we do from a public relations standpoint is go very early to talk to the most important media outlets in the, the city and the state to say, "This is what's going on.

How can we work together to, so that you can get the most out of it?" And WWL and its affiliate stations has always been at the front saying, "Man, we could do this.

We could do that." And there was the, the, the Super Bowl before last, you know, we, one of the ideas, there's a massive media center that we've all seen on television and stuff, and it's such an incredible opportunity to talk about the city and, and to get interesting people to come on.

They'll be serving up donuts in the morning, giving out free tickets to Oktoberfest at Deutsche Haus while supplies last.

So come out and meet Tommy, myself, and Scoot at the Medicare Enrollment Day tomorrow from 6 to 4 at People's Health Medicare Center on Vets Near Causeway right here on WWL.
