Unfortunately, that's now the gig.

So, um, I got really lucky earlier in my career, 'cause I've always liked college football a lot, and I got a job in Tampa, Florida, and I worked at a TV station, WTVT.

And Florida and Florida State, the coaches were Steve Spurrier and Bobby Bowden.

It was the best rivalry in the country.

I go to the local news stations.

I'm like looking at Fox 13.

I'm looking at WFLA.

I keep an eye throughout the day on some of those news station Instagram posts.

And so we were trying to perform and do the show.

But I was like beside myself with the technology part because like that's the thing about radio.

Like when you look at a local like Fox 13 in the morning or WFLA, the anchors and the reporters aren't worried about are we connected? How is my sound?

No.

But I want to be really clear that everything that we're talking about is documented in news sources.

So we're Fox 13 is one of the news sources that we're using to report this case.

And there's a couple, and we'll kind of mention them as we go through.

But I just, you know, the lawyers are like, don't get sued.

So this happened around eight o'clock last night at a Mobil gas station in St. Pete.

As Fox 13's Kaylee Tracy reports, a good Samaritan stepped in to help.

[whooshing] Police say the suspect asked the victim, who was pumping gas here at the Mobil on 40th Avenue North, if she could use her phone.

The victim let her, then the suspect asked for money.
