Anyway, so an article out of WSHU, Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy has raised concern that rare books acquired for AI training maybe scanned, physically demanded and destroyed after digitization.

We've actually seen a number of stories around this where AI absorb the book and then they don't preserve the book.

But in talking in some of the articles around the book dealers, they say it's not just AI doing this, buying books and then the books being destroyed.
