Kwik Trip with a K late last month was among four groups honored by the state of Wisconsin for their work in energy efficiency.

The La Crosse, Wisconsin-based c-store chain was honored for its projects to create more energy efficient facilities, including installing EV chargers and solar panels, WSAW-TV reported.

Todd Bornholt, Kwik Trip's senior energy and sustainability analyst, told CSP that energy efficiency is not a one-time initiative at the c-store chain.

CVS Pharmacy has agreed to pay three hundred and fifteen million dollars in Hawaii to resolve federal allegations that it improperly filled opioid and other controlled substance prescriptions over more than twelve years and billed federal healthcare programs for many of them.

CN also stated its support for separate dedicated infrastructure for new passenger services.

In Southern News, WSAW-TV reports that CN is investigating a derailment near Pittsville, Wisconsin, involving approximately 11 rail cars carrying sand.

The incident occurred at about 7.35 a.m. near Highway 80 in Pine Drive in Wood County.

CN said the derailed cars came to rest in various positions, but there were no fires, dangerous goods, or injuries.
