WrestleMania 43

All right.

So the other thing, the big rumor coming out of today is that Roman Reigns is going to wrestle against Omu- Obafemi for the title at WrestleMania 43.

That I do believe this is going to happen.

Mm-hmm.

And if this is how you're going to push forth, if there's bigger plans that I'm not privy to, then be my guest.

Now, this is what I will say is we've had a few reports over the last few days where You've got Nick Khan saying that we are across the creative in regards to WrestleMania 43, which was a very bizarre way of phrasing that sentiment.

And I took that sentiment as we've got an idea, we've got a plan, we've got, you know... five, six, seven matches over the course of two nights of WrestleMania in pen.

Maybe it's erasable pen, but it's pen.

whether you're there in saudi arabia or you're at home watching the event and if that's the case that's fine i just i just wonder about how safe they're gonna be and it doesn't come off like they're gonna have the rock involved which is unfortunate not that i was banking on the rock being there but you can't help but wonder The one match that we all know is out there and it's been talked about and until it happens, no one's going to buy that The Rock is officially retired is The Rock vs. Roman Reigns.

It seems like Roman versus Oba Femi is the play for WrestleMania 43.

I know Oba foregone, forewent, I don't know the phrasing, but just said championship opportunities are going to be available at any point that I want them.

Because that bothers me.

I think you, me, and everybody else listening to any shows like this, if I asked you, what do you think the main event of WrestleMania 43 is going to be? If I asked you that question...

I firmly believe that you had an answer to that question all the way back at WrestleMania 42 this year.

I think as soon as Oba Femi walked out on the after show and talked about Roman Reigns, I think we all knew from that minute forward that Oba Femi versus Roman Reigns was going to be a big deal.

is definitely penciled in to be the main event in Saudi Arabia for WrestleMania 43.

However, Dave Meltzer likes to make it a new announcement, make it sound like he's breaking some important news, crossing the fourth wall or whatever, and act like he knows something that we don't all know.

I think even a blind man could have seen that that's the main event for WrestleMania 43 in the works.

I know that Nick Khan this week said that they're well into the planning stages for WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia.

right uh nick khan talking to the varsity talking about wrestlemania 43 said it's a very big show they've already come across the creative that's subject of course to any injury he also adds that there will be shows at msg which we've heard about wrestlemania saturday there'll be watch alongs throughout the u.s for mania and then nxt and triple a will both run shows at madison square garden that the theater part of it of course

so if if the creative's already done does that mean rock is or is not coming back if they've already got if they've already got the creative basically locked in for what they want 43 to look like i mean I can understand having a rough outline, but to like, and again, he's not somebody who's been in the industry, so for him to talk like that, like you just, I can understand, okay, this is what we want to build boards and have that idea.

Like, I get that, but if they actually have the creative basically locked in, I don't think that's a good thing.

I don't necessarily think it needs to be.

I think that might be more advantageous, more interesting for the short term, but at some point, we got a report that they're already booking towards the main events of WrestleMania 43, and And depending on what happens tonight, that's going to play a role in setting us on the path towards WrestleMania.

So with Randy Orton cutting his promo, I really didn't know what to think.

I'm not sure who to put my chips on in terms of who's going to win tonight.

And the story does become in- considerably more interesting when it's placed alongside what we got today where WWE reportedly has planned for later this year.

So according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer newsletter, Roman Reigns versus Oba Femi is penciled in for the current direction for the Sunday main event of WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Of course, as we know, we discussed last n- last episode that Nick Khan talked about the creative is already in motion.

Things can change.

I mean, none of this means that Oba should become obsessed with protecting himself.

I think there is a part that you should be protecting yourself.

If WWE genuinely intends to put him opposite Roman at WrestleMania 43, like Dave Meltzer was reporting in the newsletter, Oba actually needs some vulnerability over the next seven months.

I think it's been tricky as we saw with the booking of Goldberg back in the late '90s of keeping someone throughout a run.
