World of Frozen

You can also find this ride at Disneyland California.

If you have any Frozen fans in your family, they'll love the new World of Frozen area that just opened in the spring of 2026.

It features the castle and village of Arendelle and then Elsa's ice castle up in the mountains.

It also has a ride, but we skipped this and just took a look around town.

Although not park icons, Disney has continued expanding castle storytelling beyond traditional park centerpieces.

World of Frozen features Arendelle Castle and Elsa's Ice Palace in Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, and Disney Adventure World.

These environments immerse guests inside the World of Frozen rather than simply presenting the castles as distant landmarks.

They do also have Beast's Castle and Rapunzel's Tower at a distance in Magic Kingdom.

Disney Cruise Line even introduced a castle at sea aboard the Disney Wish.

World of Frozen will be receiving a Scandinavian-inspired holiday makeover from the 7th of November to January 6th.

While a Christmas tree will lie...

Oh, boring.

We'll light up the entrance to World of Frozen in a warm, festive atmosphere.

I've also gleaned that Olaf will lead a Christmas choir at the foot of the North Mountain with the help, you know, from Anna and Elsa, of course.

Halloween time to Christmas time because dates for Disney Enchanted Christmas have been announced November 7th through January 6th.

And so this is going to be the first Christmas with the world of Frozen.

So they announced some concept art for that.

It's going to be adorable.

And it's just, it's just so nice just to be able to walk back and forward you know that's the bit that I love about Disneyland Paris and Disney

does this on purpose but they do things that are only in specific parks right like Disneyland Paris has Arendelle right but it also has like we don't have anything like just a Woody like a Woody's Roundup like that would be so cool I think that would do really well in the States and they're like no you have to go to Paris for it

You know, that's how they push going to the other parks.

They can't.

But I do think it was much better when you just saw characters sort of as and when, you know.

When Arendelle opened up, so are, I mean, I'm assuming Elsa and Anna are meeting.

Yeah.

The Christmas season is officially expanding outside of Disneyland Park.

It is going straight into the brand new world of Frozen.

Makes so much sense.

They are calling it Christmas the Arendelle Way, and they are doing a full festive overlay for the village.

Early August, very busy, busiest period of the year.

So many French people take their vacations in August.

And yeah, and now there's World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World.

And that second part gets super busy in the morning.

There was too much going on with Frozen.

And I remember when they put the tickets on sale, it was a few days after I got back from that mega trip that I did in March for the opening of World of Frozen.

And I was like, first of all, I don't know how to do this.

I don't even know how to buy a ticket to D23.

Olaf...

Which will be divided into subsections.

The day after Disneyland Paris changed over to Disney Adventure World and they opened World of Frozen, we were in the World of Frozen when Olaf fell.

We had a front row seat to that.

But it was about connection.

And it really did, I think... provide a stepping or a leaping off point that we now see in World of Frozen, in Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, or what we have coming with Avengers Campus in the expansion, in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

And it really did set the bar so high.

I don't know.

I haven't been to a full World of Frozen yet.

I went to the one at Disney Fantasy World, or a Disney, uh, sea in fantasy Springs.

And I loved it, but I don't know that it took me into a completely new world in the same way that cars land did.
