World Market Center Las Vegas

It's not.

It's at the World Market Center.

It's just, like, at the convention center.

Um, it's actually-

My guest this week is furniture industry veteran Bob Maricich.

In 2011, Bob helped reshape the industry's trade show landscape by bringing together the struggling World Market Center in Las Vegas and three major High Point properties to create International Market Centers, now known as Andmore.

He later added Atlanta's AmericasMart and the Decorative Arts Center to the company's growing portfolio.

After more than a decade at the helm, Bob is stepping back from day-to-day operations to become executive chairman.

And, and, uh, you know, I had, uh, uh, developed the financial expertise to know that, uh, that's, that's not a sustainable situation.

Well, so what, what...

in the beginning, a- and, and we should, and we should, uh, explain a little bit about, about what the Las Vegas Design Center and the, and the hope for the world market center was going to be originally, and why, why it was built for a billion dollars and, and, and all that it was going to be.

And what seemed appealing to you, a- as you were just describing, about jumping ship from this, from this very substantial job you have as the CEO at Century?

Also, there's a range day on the 25th.

And, uh, yeah, we're gonna be located at the Expo, the World Market Center.

Come by our booth, say hi.

All right.
