World Fantasy Convention

Yeah.

Uh, in 2017, though, after, uh, Brooks of Rakshasa have been so big, she becomes toastmaster at the World Fantasy Convention, and I wanted to quote from her speech on Bury the Future.

Aisha, I've been talking a lot.

mean, the World Fantasy Convention, they have a mass author signing where everyone who wants to sign is in the big hall or whatever and everyone just goes around getting signatures.

And quite often when I'm signing a book, and most of the people at that particular convention are in fact writers, agents, publishers, so beginning writers, established writers, whatever.

And so I say, are you a writer? If they're a young person who looks like they are, and usually they say yes, they are.

Congratulations to all the finalists.

The awards will be presented during the 2026 World Fantasy Convention in Oakland, California.

And that's October 22nd to 25th.

So congratulations to everybody.
