And that's still something that's a go-to place for just about everyone in Brisbane and everyone that visits.

That just flows on as a builder developer or anyone in the industry.

In 1974, during the devastating Brisbane floods, the bridge stood strong, serving as a symbol of Brisbane's resilience.

As we welcomed millions of visitors for World Expo 88, the Story Bridge formed part of the city's internationally recognised skyline.

Since the birth of River Fire in 1998, the bridge has played a starring role in this annual celebration of our city.

I think I went to see them – I didn't see them in Brisbane in 1988.

They did a big sort of big concert at Expo 88.
