Top dogs ride waves at annual World Dog Surfing Championships.

How many toes does a dog have? Hang eight.

Well, I guess they have a do claw.

And it was, so I was kind of like, what to do? I kind of signed up for this email, what to do in the Bay Area.

And I came across World Dog Surfing Championship in Pacifica, California.

And I'm like, huh, well, okay.

How is this going to work? And I turned to my friend Brandon, and I said, hey, Brandon, who's my best friend, what do you say we go sign up for a surfing competition? And he's like, let's go for it.

And recently, some of the world's top surfers gathered in Northern California, and they happened to be dogs.

That's right, it was the annual World Dog Surfing Championships in Pacifica, California.

Dogs jumped on surfboards and rode the waves, and it's just not like random casual dogs.

This is a competition.

Yeah, I'm gonna ha- okay, I'm gonna post some of those videos on Instagram because the world needs to see that.

Yeah, the Associated, uh, Press writes, "Top dogs were riding waves Saturday at the annual World Dog Surfing Championships as hundreds of spectators cheered and barked from the northern California beach."

[laughs]

"From small spaniels to large labs, the cana- canines were judged on factors including how long they could stay on the board, the size of the wave, and their confidence."

We end with a story of a dog that's become a pro surfer and an internet sensation.

The annual World Dog Surfing Championship in California sees pets of all breeds and sizes hitting the waves, and the top prize for this year went to Rip'n Rosie the Labrador, who carved her way to victory with a series of impressive rides.

I'm a lifetime surfer.

We paddled on the lake for about three weeks and came back and caught little, small waves and gradually got so we could surf all kinds of different waves.

And we surf together, oh my gosh, four or five times a, times a week.
