The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it affects a person's ability to move and maintain balance and posture, with symptoms varying from person to person.

Looking at some global observances.

Today is considered World Cerebral Palsy Day to unite the global community and advocate for the rights, inclusion, and accessibility of over fifty million people living with cerebral palsy worldwide.

2026 theme, Unique and United, which encourages people to voice changes they want to see and connect with organizations or individuals to help make them happen.

We also have National Plus Size Appreciation Day to celebrate body diversity, promote self-love, and challenge traditional beauty standards.
