People could have an opinion more than just, say, in Oklahoma and in the college world.

So there's this thing called the Women's Softball World Cup with the WBSC that is in town next week.

And I was told, hey, you want to do this because it will raise your profile.

So I'm like, great, I'll call a couple of games.

Mark successfully transitioned from player to coach, coaching the Black Sox for over a decade and leading them to world championship silver in 2015 and gold in 2017.

That same year he was named World Coach of the Year by the World Baseball Softball Confederation.

In this conversation, we talk about growing up in a softball dynasty with a dad who was also in the Softball Hall of Fame.

We talk about what he learned from losing the world championship final in 1988, and the mindset shift he went through to enable three back-to-back world titles.

Our team rankings are, and especially what we're going to be coming out soon, are going to be much more of like an algorithmic approach where your performance at different events will dictate your rankings, just like the WBSC, just like FIFA.

So the team rankings is much more about that.

I would say it's much more science.
