Greg CromieHOST
72:20
Absolutely massive.
Greg CromieHOST
72:22
And following on from that about the places you've been to, Workshop photographers, sorry, photographers often look to workshops to fulfill a bucket list item, you know, whether it be I want to go to Africa and I want to photograph the big game or I want to go to Hokkaido and photograph winter or whatever it may be.
Greg CromieHOST
72:41
You know, what's on your bucket list? What do you hope to someday achieve in a couple of locations that you're really keen to get into?
Murray LivingstonGUEST
72:48
Hmm.
Mary DavidsonHOST

Macy RobisonHOST
15:22
So for me, here's where I am.
Macy RobisonHOST
15:25
I've been running a free workshop every week for a couple months now.
Macy RobisonHOST
15:28
It's been working reasonably well, and I think it might be time for me to test something else.
Macy RobisonHOST
15:34
I'm not sure what that is yet.
Macy RobisonHOST
15:35
I know that it always needs to involve time and a place for me to have a conversation to solve problems.
Macy RobisonHOST
15:41
And so the version of that I'm testing now, in addition to workshops, is LinkedIn as a platform to build relationships, to reach out to people I might not know yet, and then deliberately reaching out to people I do know who have come by and who have listened but maybe haven't been invited back.
Macy RobisonHOST
15:57
So I'm gonna be reaching out and inviting them to reengage.
Macy RobisonHOST
16:00
When I'm thinking about how to take my content, my, quote-unquote, "show" to people, I think about how I can be in a room, solve a problem, have a conversation.
Drew ProhaskaHOST
33:11
If you'd like to try your hand at live storytelling, our StorySlams are at Norma's in Wappingers Falls the fourth Thursday of every month.

Drew ProhaskaHOST
33:28
We are all huge fans of their music.
Gavin J. GallagherHOST
2:25
That's what the sentiment is.
Gavin J. GallagherHOST
2:27
That's not to say it's correct, it's just what maybe a lot of the people that are sitting in on my workshop, it's what they are thinking, all right? Now, the sentiment obviously often drives the market, but we really don't know where we are.
Gavin J. GallagherHOST
2:39
And the other thing that I would say, and this is where you add a little bit of nuance to the conversation, is, What segment of the market are we talking about? Like if somebody says, oh, we're at the peak, the peak of what? The peak of housing prices? Or are we talking about the peak of the office valuations? Because office valuations have been falling for quite a few years.
Gavin J. GallagherHOST
3:01
Like ever since COVID hit, office valuations never really recovered from that.
Linzy BonhamHOST
51:35

Heather O'BrienGUEST

every thought captive and make it obey Christ.
Heather O'BrienGUEST
11:42
And so when we bring these thoughts to the surface, so we're assessing the situation, hopefully you have someone else present.
Heather O'BrienGUEST
11:47
This is where I do a live monthly workshop and I help people just like this, get down to the root of the problem.
Heather O'BrienGUEST
11:53
We assess it and I'm pointing out, hey, I see something here.
Kate MoryoussefHOST
14:30
We want to almost model to those around us that it's okay for them to feel calm and grounded and safe as well.
Kate MoryoussefHOST
14:39
So I think what I'm trying to say is that communicating really really important information and we must must listen we're not failing we're not doing things wrong our body's not doing things like you know in different ways to what it should be doing it's what it's doing it's responding it's responding to i guess how much care we're giving to ourselves and to our nervous system i'm going to talk about the window of tolerance again this is another polyvagal modality and this is just really important to know because when you understand your window of tolerance you're able to open it and close it a lot more easily because it's all about awareness so again I've got other workshops on this where I talk about it a little bit more but this is just giving you kind of like the most simplistic way of explaining it so When we've got a window of tolerance and it's open, it means, again, we're in that ventral vagal state.
Kate MoryoussefHOST
15:43
So we're present, we're calm, we're connected, we're engaged.
Kate MoryoussefHOST
15:46
There's clarity, there's perspective.
Kate MoryoussefHOST
19:51
And this is more my chance to bring you additional wisdom to help you step into more authenticity with this new understanding and awareness through a more neurodivergent lens.
