In Wrath of Khan, I think it's, uh, Commander Chekov is now on a different ship, and then eventually he gets reunited with the Enterprise crew.

And so in this movie, Worf has his own starship.

He's off battling the Borg, but then-

I really like that.

It's an interesting, it's very different from, like, the security officers who stand out in Trek tend to be, you get Worf and you get Tuvok.

And the two of them were very different from each other because Worf was, it's, I am military precision personified.

And Tuvok, it's the pacifist logic applied to security procedures and protocols.

But here comes completely other side of it, which is, oh yeah, if I was trying to take over the ship... you'd have a hard time stopping me.

It really is.

Commander Riker contacts Geordi LaForge and Lieutenant Worf.

They are currently days ahead of the Enterprise, traveling aboard a Klingon scout ship called the Hiding Fish, which is commanded by Worf's brother, Captain Kern.

Riker gets Geordi on the screen and gives him a direct, unambiguous order.

Commander LaForge, you are the senior Federation officer currently present in that sector.

So now the Federation has a rogue bidder who refuses to bid.

But that is just the opening act of the political chaos.

Let's look at Worf.

But I still had a warm personal feeling, like I said to you in the text, that it's like that scene in Next Gen when...

Worf and Riker have to have the big man conversation.

And I was like, here's the bit where they're contextualizing the plot for us.

And I was like, wow, that's kind of like my experience listening to this.

And that was obviously the huge climax of kind of the first part of the season, which is the first confrontation with the Shrike, essentially.

And getting Raffi to meet Worf and stuff like that, we're gradually kind of getting to the point where the whole crew is going to come together.

But it still looks like they're holding off.

There's still some important people that aren't in this episode.

Yeah, yeah.

See, once again, it's all the original characters on Picard that I love the most.

I don't need to see more of Worf using a bat left.

No, give me someone who's original and catty as fuck.

And Riker's pleased because they won't be able to fire while cloaked.

And Worf goes, unless they've corrected that deficiency.

Yeah, I like that.

He's bringing into some uncertainties into it.

He's doing some great mime work here, LeVar Burton.

Loses his visor, grabs it, can't get it put back on.

Up on the bridge, Worf has a tractor beam ready, and then Geordi just flies onto the bridge, rolls around, but he's okay, and he tells Picard to destroy the probe.

Yeah.

We've kept the sash.

Yeah, I mean, Worf's sash in season one was based identically off Cor, and that's the Klingons from the original series.

Then, obviously, they moved it on and changed the design from season two and that onwards.

Identically a Baldrick, by the way.
