Woodland Junior High School

The Fayetteville Board of Education will hear updates on the major capital projects during its September 24th meeting.

Renovations of the track stadium at the current Ramey Junior High School were nearing completion, with athletic teams holding practices on the new field while a topping-out ceremony for the new Woodland Junior High School was set for October.

A parking garage at Fayetteville High School was scheduled for completion in the coming spring, and site work began on the future Ramey Junior High School.

The board would rename the Performing Arts Center's main stage after former theater teacher Warren Rosenauer, who led the program for over three decades, then returned to serve as the first director of the Performing Arts Center.
