And following soon after that, I had another play done that just us did called Hospice.

And Woody King came and saw it, and they did that at New Federal.

So it was a lovely kind of a path that I was going because I was able to work in Atlanta, but I also was able to have my work seen by people who could then take it to New York, which was really, really wonderful.

That's incredible, especially, too, to have your piece, Puppet Play, have its world premiere, its beginnings in Atlanta, but to have it travel to New York after that, for it to have, like you said, its life grow, and then to see that with the next play of yours as well, too.

And I was like, hmm, okay, I would like to audition for that.

So I happened to see him at the late, great Woody King Jr.'s memorial service, and I asked him, I said, hey, are you guys having auditions? And he said, you know, not right now, but, you know, if anything changes, we'll let you know.

So...

They had the auditions, I planted the seed, and you know, he reached out, they let me audition, and the rest is history.
