Wong Fei Hung

So it's still something of a race for second place.

OK, and so what I wanted to say was that the genre that came out in the early 90s that won the race for second place was new wave kung fu cinema, which was launched by the great Choi Hak in 1991 with Wong Fei Hong, Once Upon a Time in China, which made a star out of Jet Li, Lilian Jet.

All right.

Well, we will save that for the next episode.

... one thing we will have to steal, and this is from Last Hero in China, which if you haven't seen it, it's Jet Li ends up, um, he's...

I don't know if he's Wong Fei-hung or Wong Fei-hung's dad.

Um, he also ends up getting tied up with, there's, there's like perverted monks who are capturing girls from a brothel.

I actually don't think I've seen this.

Yeah

... not like a, um, lion dance, but there's got a centipede.

Oh, it's part of the Wong Fei-hung series.

It's like, Wong stumbles onto a kidnapping sh- uh, scheme, uh, after unwillingly opening a martial arts school next to a brothel.
