Wonderware

Aviva is the software that was acquired 2018, eight years ago, that will house both Cognite and PTC.

And then in 2013, they acquired Wonderware.

I feel like they really wanted to get the point across here.

They were really trying to sell PTC because there are a lot of charts like this one showing ultimately where PTC is going to fit into the software stack for Schneider across, as Nick just said, design all the way to maintenance of industrial systems and in the data layer.

So it was different, but I was totally fine with it.

Yeah, I think it's harder because I was I remember when I was learning, like, I think maybe Wonderware or something, but we had to do Python scripting.

And I do remember it not being that bad because it was Python.

But I was I've never been like wanting to learn like C++ or just truly like textual based languages, right? Even though I did start with HTML, my first experience with text-based stuff.

It's in application.

The first one is you may have a customer that has legacy data trapped in Wonderware.

Now, one route is I can create the host and I can add Ignition as a client.

That's great.

Uh, would complement AVEVA software for industrial engineering and operations, and, um, PTC's, uh, Vuforia technology could also strengthen AVEVA's, uh, visualization and frontline workers, um, offerings.

So from a, a very top-line software perspective, David, is it fair to say AVEVA acquisition also brought Wonderware, so HMI software? We had the data platform, which in Wonderware and AVEVA was always completely vendor agnostic and open.

This was maintained well with AVEVA and Wonderware-
