Women's Six Nations Championship

She has an incredible career and she's witnessed a huge shift in women's rugby throughout that career.

The Women's Six Nations has just recorded more than 8 million TV viewers and next September, the first ever British and Irish Lions women's tour heads to New Zealand with the three tests against her former team, the Black Ferns.

And she joins us today to reflect on her incredible journey.

the rise of women's rugby and what it's like to be one of the women helping to change the game.

Shout out to them.

Yes, and they're not back in action now until the Women's Six Nations.

Is that right? Wales Women,

yeah.

However, in this article, Wales Online do not explore that point or that kind of line of inquiry, which isn't really surprising because, disappointingly, Wales Online's coverage of women's rugby is pretty much zero.

Since the Women's Six Nations, Wales women have played four, four test matches and Wales Online have not reported on a single one of them.

The article then goes on to discuss the other key stakeholder in these negotiations, the English.

So they quote a recent interview given by Bath co-owner Bruce Craig, who told The Guardian, I think we absolutely need 12 teams and there are certainly advantages to the Welsh if they can sort their situation out.

And John Mitchell has said when we come back, they've got a long gap now.

The Women's Six Nations isn't until April.

First, they've got a game against USA next weekend, but everyone's expecting that to be fairly convincing.

They've got a bit of time now.

No, I can completely agree.

So onwards then to the Women's Six Nations, which will be coming up not long after Celtic Challenge is finished.

Sian and I have already got our home tickets.

There we go.

Mm.

You play five tests during the Women's Six Nations.

You play six during this window.

So this is such a crucial part of the, of the bigger picture.
